William D. Bowers Lumber Company was founded in 1868 by Wm. D. Bowers, and has been providing floor, wall, and roof packages to the building industry for over 130 years. In 2005 William D. Bowers Lumber Co.  merged with Turner Truss Inc, a component plant in Hollsopple, Pennsylvania, and formed Bowers Lumber & Components, LLC. Bowers Lumber & Components has the capacity to supply complete wall panel, engineered floor and engineered roof truss systems. In addition to providing wall, roof and floor systems, Bowers Lumber & Components offers an experienced framing crews that works safely and efficiently. Bowers Lumber & Building Components is based in Woodsboro, Maryland, in the heart of Frederick County. We've successfully completed many large multi-family and single-family framing projects in the Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania market.
